Keemun Mao Feng Premium – Classic Chinese Keemun Black Tea

Keemun black tea is one of the most celebrated black teas in the world, and it's often used in famous blends like English Breakfast! Our Keemun Mao Feng Premium is a top-quality whole-leaf tea from Qimen County in Anhui Province, China — the birthplace of Keemun tea.

"Mao Feng" refers to the tender leaves and buds used in this premium grade. They're tightly rolled as whole leaves and fully oxidized to produce Keemun's distinctive, deep flavor. When steeped, Keemun Mao Feng Premium produces a rich amber infusion with a brisk, full-bodied and toasty flavor, accompanied by the fruity, floral aroma of spring orchards.

Tasting Notes

  • Liquor: rich amber
  • Aroma: fruity and floral, like spring orchards
  • Flavor: brisk, full-bodied and toasty
  • Sweetness: long-lasting and natural
  • Finish: rich and delicious with a slightly smoky note

Why You'll Love It

Keemun Mao Feng offers the perfect balance of briskness and elegance. It's full-bodied enough to satisfy black tea lovers, yet its fruity, floral aroma and lingering sweetness make it far more refined than an ordinary breakfast tea. We're sure you'll love its rich, delicious aftertaste.

Brisk, rich and beautifully aromatic, Keemun Mao Feng Premium is a true classic of Chinese black tea.

I loved this tea.
It's a very earthy black tea that was right up my alley as a typical "breakfast tea" drinker. Don't get me wrong its a not the same, but it is amazing and the only thing I have to compare it to!
Very natural taste and leaves a very nice after feel.

I almost gave up on keemun tea . This one changed my mind ! Full of flavour from the first sip to a full lingering after taste . Honestly , it surprised me at how good it is .

IMO, most of the Keemun sold online is devoid of aroma and flavor. A person can order a lot of tea from a lot of vendors and still end up with a lackluster cup. It was such a relief opening my Tealyra package and having the tea smell good and taste good. Glad I found 'Tealyra' because based upon the Keemun, this is tea as it should be.

Outstanding. Rose, cocoa and fig notes, with a pronounced sweet toastiness. Lovely lingering aftertaste, too. Tried this as a 25g sample, and will definitely order a larger amount next time. This may well become my go-to black tea.
