Golden Dragon Yellow Tea – Floral, Buttery Chinese Yellow Tea

Our Golden Dragon Yellow Tea is a fine Chinese tea from one of the rarest tea categories in the world. True yellow tea is produced only in China and is prepared much like green tea — but during processing, the leaves are kept damp and allowed to gently oxidize. This extended step reduces astringency and gives the finished tea a warm golden hue and its own unique flavor.

Artisans nickname this tea "10-degree yellow tea, " as it undergoes a minimal oxidation of around 10%. This gentle process gives Golden Dragon its smooth, mellow body and delicate floral character.

Tasting Notes

  • Liquor: deep, warm golden
  • Aroma: wonderfully floral
  • Flavor: rich and lively, similar to a fine oolong
  • Mouthfeel: smooth and clean, with a buttery finish
  • Finish: fresh and refreshing

Why You'll Love It

Golden Dragon offers the freshness of green tea and the smooth, floral depth of oolong in one rare and special cup. It's gentle, never grassy or bitter, and endlessly enjoyable — a wonderful discovery for curious tea lovers.

  • A true Chinese yellow tea
  • Lightly oxidized for a smooth, mellow cup
  • Floral and buttery
  • An oolong-like richness

How to Enjoy

Enjoy it plain to appreciate its floral, buttery character, and re-steep the leaves for several infusions. It pairs well with light meals and pastries. Steep a cup of this fine luxury tea and imagine sitting with the Emperor himself during the Qing Dynasty!

Rare, smooth and beautifully floral, Golden Dragon Yellow Tea is a treasure worth discovering.

It is excellent tea. I have started to reduce the green tea in the fall and winter. Yellow tea is milder than green tea, and tastes great. This tea is good.
