Description
Finest Anji White – Rare "Liquid Silk" Umami Green Tea from ZhejiangOur Finest Anji White tea is grown in the misty mountains of Anji County in China's eastern coastal Zhejiang Province. This fine tea cultivar has a very short harvest season, making the tea especially unique and rare. It's seldom sold or enjoyed outside of China, and it's an exceptional tea we're proud to offer! The long, slender, delicate leaves are green with pale yellow tones and a highly fragrant aroma. Interestingly, given how it's made, Anji White is in fact a green tea despite its name — the "white" refers to its delicate, tippy appearance and the pale leaves of the rare cultivar. Tasting Notes
