Description
Ali Shan High Mountain – Premium Taiwanese High-Mountain OolongAli Shan is one of Taiwan's most famous and beloved scenic areas, known for its breathtaking beauty, fresh mountain air, clear mountain passes and its world-famous narrow-gauge forest railway. The same mountain also produces some of the world's most prized high-mountain oolong — and our Ali Shan High Mountain is a premium example. This hand-picked, hand-processed oolong has a deep jade color and a deep floral aroma. Some of the stems have been left on, adding even more depth to the aroma and flavor. It has been lightly roasted, giving the fragrance a deeper, darker floral character. Tasting Notes
Why You'll Love ItHigh-mountain oolongs are prized for their sweetness and smoothness, thanks to cool temperatures and slow leaf growth at high altitude. Ali Shan offers exactly that — a buttery, floral cup that's never bitter, with a depth that rewards slow sipping and many infusions.
How to EnjoyBrew it gongfu-style in a gaiwan or small teapot and enjoy many infusions. It pairs beautifully with fresh fruit, pastries and light meals, and makes a wonderful gift for oolong lovers. Buttery, floral and beautifully deep, Ali Shan High Mountain is a true taste of Taiwan's mountains. |
