Description
Gyokuro Premier – "Jade Dew" Shade-Grown Japanese Green TeaGyokuro Premier, also known as "Jade Dew, " is one of the highest grades of Japanese green tea. Cherished and sought after by connoisseurs around the world, gyokuro is a rare Japanese tea that's shaded for at least two weeks before harvest. This naturally boosts the chlorophyll and amino acids in the leaf, producing a unique, deep and sweet cup. Naturally grown gyokuro of this quality is rarely exported and can be difficult to find, and we've gone to great lengths to bring it to you. Harvested just once a year in spring, its increased chlorophyll adds depth, flavor, color and complexity — and enhances its natural nutritional content too. Tasting Notes
Why You'll Love ItGyokuro Premier offers one of the most luxurious green tea experiences in the world. Its rich umami, natural sweetness and silky mouthfeel make every cup feel special. It's a smooth, savory cup to savor slowly.
How to EnjoyWe highly recommend paying special attention to water temperature and steeping time — never use boiling water, as cooler water brings out gyokuro's sweetness and umami. Serve it in small cups, savor it slowly and re-steep the leaves for several infusions. Rich, silky and deeply rewarding, Gyokuro Premier is a jewel of Japanese tea. |
