Herbal Cleanse Blends FAQ
What do these teas taste like?
Most are fresh and herbal: lemony from lemon verbena and lemongrass, warm from ginger and cinnamon, or cool from peppermint and fennel. A few, like Lemon Green Detox, have a green tea base.
Do these teas contain caffeine?
Most of the herbal and rooibos blends are caffeine-free. Blends with green tea, matcha, oolong or yerba mate, such as Lemon Green Detox and Healthy Edge, contain some caffeine.
How do I brew them?
Use 1 to 1.5 teaspoons per 250 ml cup. Steep herbal and rooibos blends in water just off the boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Green tea blends taste best at about 79°C for 2 to 3 minutes.
Is there anything to know before trying them?
They are everyday tea blends chosen for flavor. If you are pregnant, nursing or take medication, check the ingredients on each product page and ask your doctor before trying a new herbal tea.
