Peppermint
Peppermint is a natural hybrid of spearmint and watermint, native to Europe and the Middle East and now grown widely in places like Oregon and Washington. Its leaves brew a bold, cooling cup with a crisp, sweet, intensely minty aroma and a clean, lingering finish. Peppermint is wonderful on its own and pairs well with green tea, black tea, rooibos, chocolate, licorice and lemongrass. It is naturally caffeine-free as an herb, and it is equally refreshing hot after dinner or iced in summer.
Spearmint is a leafy mint native to Europe and Asia, now grown widely around the world. It has a sweet, mellow, refreshing mint flavor that is softer and less sharp than peppermint, with a clean, cooling finish. Spearmint is the classic mint for Moroccan mint tea, traditionally brewed with Chinese gunpowder green tea and plenty of sugar. It also blends well with black tea, rooibos, lemongrass and fruit, and it makes a wonderfully crisp iced tea.

A little steeping tipStart at 2 min and taste — go up to 3 min for a fuller flavour. For a stronger cup, add a little more tea rather than steeping longer.
A fresh way to enjoy itSweeten while the tea is still hot so it dissolves. For a smoother, mellower glass, try cold brew: leaves in cold water in the fridge for 6–8 hours.

Preparation:
Use 1 TSP or 1 BAG per 200ml of water at 80°C and steep for 2-3 min.
The mint flavor is strong but not overpowering. I am not sure I can taste the Gunpowder Green tea, but am sure it brings a balance. Of the various brands of Mint tea I have tried this is currently my favorite. I enjoy it in the evenings while reading/studying.

I recently went to Morocco and fell in love with the mint tea there! I’ve tried different blends and this is the closest I’ve found. Not perfect but close! I drink it in the evening after my walk as I read. Perfect way to spend the evening

Really interesting tea, the other reviewers are accurate in saying it tastes a lot like spearmint gum.
I find the spearmint comes on a little strongly and overwhelms the green tea, but it's pretty good. My stomach certainly likes it as it feels very soothing going down. Would be great to have with lunch I think.

I strangely like this mix a lot. It indeed has a chewing gum flavour but it is not overtly strong.

To sum this up, it tastes like you're drinking spearmint gum. I can taste the spearmint, which is a cool mint, the peppermint which is stronger as well as the green tea. If it were up to me, I would leave out the green tea. I like the contrast of the strong vs the cool mint tastes. The 2nd and 3rd steeping the tea loses the "gum" taste and I like it much better.

I feel like I received a different tea than everyone else. No matter how much of this I use, it tastes nothing like mint. It's just non minty, very weak green tea.
