Lavender
Lavender is a fragrant Mediterranean herb whose purple flower buds have long scented gardens and kitchens across Provence and southern Europe. In the cup it offers a sweet, floral aroma with gentle herbal notes of rosemary and mint, plus a slightly woody finish. Preparation:
Use 1-2 TSP or 1 BAG per 200ml of water at 95°C and steep for 4-6 min.
Oh my goodness! When I opened the bag I just about floated away into lala land! I use the lavender flowers to make a lavender simple syrup! It's perfect! I also make a wonderful cold tea in my tea lounge called Lavender Bliss. I steep the Butterfly Pea Flower (Tealyra) with a squeeze of lemon and the lavender simple syrup is Amazing!

I must admit I don't drink the lavender flowers as a tea I simmer them on the stove which makes the whole house smell like heaven. For me nothing smells better than lavender.

I love mixing a bit of lavender in with other teas, but this REALLY shines on its own. The aroma is intoxicating.
Try mixing it 1.5 parts lavender with 1 part chamomile for a lovely, simple bedtime tea.

This is the second time I have purchased it. This time I have found the flavour cooler and more bitter than previously which was much more rounded and smoother (which I prefer). I presume it could be the type of lavender and maybe even the stage at what the flowers have been picked. I find the flavour too strong too drink on its own but when used sparingly it adds complexity to the tea mix.
